“The law firm Lucas-Montesinos was formally established on October 13, 2021, when Pilar Lucas and Isabel Montesinos decided to formalize a union of forces that had begun many years earlier.
Specifically, the collaboration between both lawyers started in 2007, when Pilar Lucas joined Imont Legal & Taxes as an external lawyer to defend all kinds of judicial proceedings for all the international clients of the firm on the coast of Murcia and Alicante, who were affected by the great real estate crisis.
Those were years of frenetic judicial activity, as many foreign clients were affected by contractual breaches, developer bankruptcies, real estate frauds, separations, divorces, and all kinds of judicial matters during very complicated times. Both Pilar Lucas and Isabel Montesinos became experts in real estate law, achieving favorable judgments in lawsuits against banking entities such as Caixa, SGR, or BBVA.
